Velammal school to host national camp

CHENNAI: With the various SAI Centers busy with team preparations for the Commonwealth Games, the Government has agreed to the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI)’s request for holding the national women’s camp outside any Centre for the first time. The Vellammal International School at Panchetti on the outskirts of the city came forward as an alternative to host the camp, which is in preparation for the Asian Championship to be held in Hanoi from September 5 to 13.
