India Head-on with Pakistan in Hero Honda FIH World Cup, the two week tournament starts on Sunday.
India plays Pakistan in a blockbuster on the opening day of the two week tournament of Hero Honda FIH World Cup which will star at 20.35 hours IST on Sunday. The first two pool matches to be played between South Africa and Spain, and Australia and England.
Pakistan captain Zeeshan Ashraf demanded a victory as a present for his birthday on Sunday but the Indian team headed by Rajpal Singh are despairing to deny that to him. There are no hidden grudges in this; it’s just the old rivalry between the shirts, greens and the blues on the hockey turf.
Germany without fail, is the hot favorite of World and Olympic Champions, and if wins this time as well so it would be the 3rd consecutive win of Germany in the World Cup. Germany has pool match with Holland, South Korea, New Zealand, Canada and Argentina, whereas India and Pakistan have been pooled with England, Spain, Australia and Africa.
