NEW DELHI: With most of the Indians lagging behind in the medal race of their respective sections, S.P. Sethuraman joined fellow International Masters Vidit Gujarathi in the lead at six points in the under-16 section of the World youth chess championship Antalya, Turkey, on Wednesday.

Hetul Shah was sharing the second spot in the under-10 category. In all other sections, the chances of Indians winning a medal diminished further.

With four rounds to go, only a very strong finish can help more Indians to break into the medal-bracket.
