ONGC Nehru Cup 2009 :
The 2009 Nehru Cup International Football Tournament is the 14th edition of the Nehru Cup, a friendly tournament organized by the AIFF since 1982. It was the second Nehru Cup sponsored by ONGC which was revived in the year 2007 after a gap of 10 years.
Along with the host nation India, Sri Lanka,Lebanon,Syria and Kyrgyzstan will compete in the 15 day tournament.
The total prize money for this tournament is a whooping US$100000 (Winner – US$40,000, Runners Up US$20,000, Third Place US$10,000, Man of the Match (each match) – US$300 and Winning Team (Each Match) –US$500).Zee Sports will telecast all the matches live from 1800 hrs on all match days and also promote this tournament by launching a multimedia campaign involving print, television, internet and radio.

Description
AMBEDKAR STADIUM :
Ambedkar Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in New Delhi, India. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 people.

It is named in honour of B. R. Ambedkar, the famous dalit leader and chairman of the Indian constituent assembly.
In 2007, the stadium was renovated and floodlights were installed. In August 2007 the stadium hosted its first tournament under floodlights, the Nehru Cup International Football Tournament 2007.
