NEW DELHI: After National Anti Doping Agency chief Rahul Bhatnagar slammed the BCCI saying that it needed to conform with Wada regulations, the BCCI has responded. BCCI president Shashank Manohar has refused to join debate with the Sports Ministry saying it will continue its dialogue with the apex body for cricket - ICC - instead. So, the board is standing firm and refusing to be Wada and Nada compliant. Another battle brewing between the Sports Ministry and BCCI? Most certainly.

Problem? Yes, because it means that the government of India and the BCCI are running in two diametrically different directions. "The BCCI's stand on the Wada issue is the same as it was," he told the Indian Express. "We will next discuss the matter in the ICC's special meeting next month. Whatever we have to say on this issue, we will coordinate with the ICC."

Manohar will attend the ICC summit, scheduled for 6-7 October in Johannesburg, where the BCCI's objection to the 'whereabouts clause' will come up for debate. He hoped the ICC would eventually drop the clause given the opposition from the boards in Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.

Meawhile, Nada is believed to be contemplating action against the BCCI for its stand. "We had our doubts since we got no response to all our communication to the BCCI asking for their comments or concurrence to the anti-doping rules," Rahul Bhatnagar, director-general of Nada, told The Times of India. "The normal course of action against federations which flout rules is economic sanctions and other deterrents. We will take suitable action in consultation with Wada."

The controversial 'whereabouts clause' for out of competition testing was to begin from 1 August but was stymied after the 11 Indian cricketers in the pool, including Sachin Tendulkar, refused to reveal the required information citing security and privacy concerns. The BCCI has backed the players in this issue and even sought the opinion of two top legal authorities in the country to firm up its stand.

BCCI have ignored so manythings in India. Few days before BCCI President and General
Secretary were in parliament to responce to money laundaring and Answer was,
With head down they say,"We have no reply to all the quarryies as though we are part
of doing it but we dont know how it happend. And BCCI still goes on. BCCI=CRICKET will
not agree and follow anything but whole India have to agree with them to allow them to
take DRUGS, Do money laundring, Invade Taxes, Kill people and become politicians,
do match fixing, sport fixing, take Bribe and Fool the people to stage an activities
on the name of SPORTS. BCCI will not follow any rules but Cricket will run as SPORTS
and BCCI will make money as and when they want. BCCI through ICC will prove the world
that CRICKET is a SPORTS by force. CRICKET will be an Olympic game soon and they dont
need to sign any agreement or treaty.

The Question is shall in India Cricket be considered as SPORT!!!! CRICKET have nothing
to say they are SPORTS. Its some Politicians who are trying to bring this activity
under SPORTS to ruin running SPORTS of India. How can be CRICKET being considered as
SPORTS when they dont even fill a single norm of SPORT. JUst ten to 12 countries
keep rotating the WORLD CUP ( Its a corporate cup not world cup) CRICKET is making
fool of everyone and as always the case Indian people are getting fooled.
