Hello,

Welcome to the September issue of "SwimNews". Pune District Amateur Aquatic
Association's monthly communication.

Last month we reached a major milestone; Website & SwimNews newsletter completes 1 year !
Through this newsletter & on-line presence, I try to share the happenings in Indian swimming.
Sometimes the newsletter & on-line updates are bit late, sorry; as I try to juggle my passion
& hectic profession !

Our next milestone ? How can we make this website & newsletter the best in Indian sports?
Any suggestions? (& volunteers).

We have now added search function to the first page. This will help you to easily search for the articles,
results & other documents which are being added regularly.

ARTICLE OF THE MONTH:
For the past few months, you must have read (& seen on TV) world records being rewritten virtually
every day. Many of you would agree; apart from the individual effort, new swimsuits have helped to
shave off tenth or hundredth of a second. An interesting article on this subject was sent by Coach
Mr Subodh Danke, its now the article of this month. Controversy on new Swimwear.
The American Swimming Coaches Association's Executive Director, John Leonard, has shared a primer
on the problem with technological doping -supersuits- and how those swimsuits need to become a thing
of the past.
